Second Life Marian Wildcat

Sometime in 2007 Marian Wildcat and Megan Faber imaginatively created an island themed on Paula Reage's novel "The Story of O" . The setting is a French chateau and it's environs and the improvised acting, narratives and interpersonal relationships which are spun from this story demonstrates how Second Life allows a virtual experience to explore aspects of self.

Some explorations may be too difficult, too dangerous or simply impossible to rehearse in real life. The history of role play and simulation has a long history in for example war gaming. For mission critical applications it may be the only posible way of testing or rehearsing a project; exemplified by it's integration by NASA in their training of the Apollo astronauts.
